What If Brands You Love Produced Entirely Different Products? AI Edition
What makes brands so popular? Perhaps it’s the quality of their products or their skillful marketing strategies, no matter what the secret is we all have brands and companies that we just can’t get enough of. It’s the brands that always keep us coming back for more, whether it’s our most loved handbag or that favorite scented soap, some of these products have been with you forever.
But what if these companies produced something else entirely? Would you buy it? With the help of AI, here are some of your favorite and most popular brands if they made alternative items than what they usually manufacture.
Google: The Tech Sweeper
Google is an American multinational technology company. They focus on everything from artificial intelligence to online advertising, SEO technology, cloud computing, computer software, electronics, and more. If it’s tech, it’s Google, some would say they are cleaning out the competition.
What if they were actually cleaning though? AI has dreamt up perhaps the most “tech” inspired Google Vacum Cleaner. Fingers crossed and Google decides to make it, hopefully, it’ll save us some cleaning.
McDonalds Shoes
Perhaps the most well-known American brand is McDonald’s. They are an American multinational fast-food chain, founded in 1940. From burgers and fries, they are known for bringing in the happy… happy meals of course.
Instead of cooking up the classics that we all know and love to eat, what if they made something else, like shoes? We imagine that they would look something along these lines. “Ba da ba ba ba I’m lovin’ it.”
Pizza Hut de Perfume
Pizza might be the only thing everyone can agree on. There is something for everyone, it’s no wonder Pizza Hut is so popular. Founded in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, Pizza Hut is an American multinational pizzeria. We don’t want to get cheesy but we can’t help but feel grate about it.
If Pizza Hut manufactured perfume we imagine that having it in a tomato-shaped bottle would be the appropriate thing. Hopefully, the scent isn’t tomato and cheese though.
Coca Cola Motorcycle Helmets
Coca-Cola has been around for over 100 years and maintains true to its motto, “to refresh the world and make a difference.” America’s favorite beverage company manufactures, sells, and markets other non-alcoholic beverage concentrates, syrups, and alcoholic beverages too.
But what if Coca-Cola strayed away from beverages and moved on to sports helmets like this motorcycle one? Imagine it looking something like this, can you picture the tagline? “Coca-Cola, the safest choice” the best part is that it works for beverages too.
Louis Vuitton, The Bakery
Louis Vuitton is known for their iconic French luxury fashion. They have become synonymous with elegant opulence, not to mention that their handbags have insane resale value. But what if Louis Vuitton made something else entirely?
The French do love their cafes and their bread, so it doesn’t seem too far-fetched if Louis Vuitton started baking bread. Here is a Louis Vuitton loaf in all its monogram glory. If their bread is anywhere as expensive as their bags then it better be just as decadent.
Victoria's Secret Mixer
In 1977 Victoria’s Secret came on the scene and became one of the most popular American lingerie brands. Since its inception, they have branched out with clothing and beauty products and subbrands like its “Pink” collections targeting young women and coming-of-age girls.
How farfetched would it be if Victoria’s Secret started manufacturing stand-in mixers? The pink aesthetic may not go with everyone’s kitchen but this might be a good enough reason to rethink your kitchen design.
Sing to Me Adidas
Adidas believe it or not is actually a German athletic apparel and footwear corporation. Adidas was founded in 1949 and has been making the world swoon ever since. They specialize in sportswear and streetwear.
They have undergone some iconic collaborations like their Ivy Park collection with Beyonce so dreaming up this exclusive musical instrument line makes sense. We imagine that Adidas’s stripes would find their way in there somewhere and hopefully make it into production sooner rather than later.
Starbucks Pucker Up
Starbucks is a 1971 American-founded company from Seattle Washington. They are known as a multinational chain of coffeehouses and roasterys. It is considered the largest coffeehouse chain. We are all guilty of needing a little pick-me-up in the morning and stopping by our local Starbucks for a black coffee, a pink drink, or a caramel macchiato.
Despite not getting your drink order correctly, we’re sure Starbucks did even though they probably spelled your name wrong. Get excited about this product mix up though because what if your coffee order was also a lipstick? You could match your coffee to your shade. This doesn’t exist but it should.
A Chanel Run
Chanel is another famous French luxury brand, perhaps the most famous. It was founded in 1910 in Paris by Coco Chanel. One of the most recognizable designs of Chanel is the purse flap and its quilted pattern. The signature quilting was inspired by the male jackets of the time worn by stablehands.
You can exercise wearing Chanel, but if only you could actually exercise on Chanel while you do it. A Chanel treadmill is exactly what your Chanel outfit is missing.
It's A Nike Freeze
If you’re going to play sports, “Just Do It.” Check it off your list and get on to the next. Nike has been a favorite and trusted athletic footwear and apparel company since 1964 founded in Oregon. Since then they have become internationally recognized and coveted all over the world.
They say a good exercise regimen and eating healthy go hand in hand with a positive lifestyle so having Nike manufacture refrigerators is really just the next natural step. At least we think so, don’t you? Who do we need to pitch to? Imagine this Nike fridge in your home and get excited.
Burberry Fishing
Burberry is a British brand founded in 1856 and is most known for its trench coats. Their most recognizable pattern is the popular checkered pattern in beige, black, white, and subtle red.
The level of chic is unmatched when it comes to the subtle Burberry design. You’ll be so fashionable if they make your fishing gear. We find it hard that anyone will be able to stay away, fish included.
Gucci Coffee Grounds
The Italian fashion house that is Gucci makes ready-to-wear handbags, shoes, and accessories. If the Italians know one thing it’s definitely how to maintain that sleek and chic style and make it timeless. We would expect nothing else of the same standard in everything they make, coffee included.
If Gucci had their own coffee brand we expect it would look something like this. Waking up in the morning would definitely be more expensive but without a doubt.
Microsoft Goes Beach
Microsoft is another tech giant that you know from the day to day. The Windows on your computer has become a computer staple and Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, or Excel, if you work in any corporate job, has become your best friend. Founded in 1975, Microsoft has arguably become the key to not only getting you a job but also keeping it.
If only you could just chill… on the beach. If Microsoft manufactured beachwear you probably could. That window pattern on those beach shorts looks rather cute actually. As the saying goes “We believe in what people make possible,” so maybe this beachline has a chance.
Nintendo Vision
Who didn’t have a Nintendo product growing up? Especially if gaming was your jam, you probably had more than one shiny new game to match. Nintendo is a Japanese multinational video game company based in Kyoto. They manufacture video games and consoles of various designs, purposes, and sizes.
With a company as fun and fresh as the gaming industry, it’s safe to assume that if they made sunglasses it would be just as youthful and vibrant. 10/10 on this Nintendo Vision, AI.
Apple is Making Me Blush
It’s only fitting that the one and only Apple Inc. makes it on this list. You can’t talk about popular brands without adding Apple into the mix. Apple is an American manufacturer of computers, smartphones, tablets, software, and more founded in 1976. They are one of the most recognizable brands in the world perhaps for their sleek and modern design. It’s functional and beautiful.
We would expect nothing less from any product they made, even if it was makeup. From sleek shiny bronzers to rose gold blush in the perfect shade as easy to use as their user-friendly electronics.
Pooping with Pepsi
Pepsi is an American food, snack, and beverage company most known for its Pepsi drink. The company was originally created in 1893 as Pepsi-Cola, a strong competitor to Coca-Cola but in 1961 they shortened their name to Pepsi. Consumers around the world enjoy Pepsi more than one billion times a day in over 200 countries and territories.
What if in an alternate universe, Pepsi made something else entirely? What if you could poop with Pepsi? We imagine if Pepsi manufactured toilets they would look something like this. Talk about an All-American toilet. It’s hard not to be patriotic after taking a look at this in the morning.
Snowboarding with Rolex
In 1926 the world’s first waterproof wristwatch case was created by Rolex and then patented. Since then Rolex has become one of the most famous brands for exclusive and expensive luxury watches. They hold nothing back when it comes to both style and quality.
If Rolex took their brand in a different direction and created snowboards instead keeping their royally famous brand colors is a no-brainer. AI helped them out with a prototype that anyone can get behind. Can Rolex?
Tiffany & Co.
Tiffany & Co. is an American luxury jewelry brand and design company. They are headquartered in New York City and their signature teal turquoise brand color has become an easily recognizable feature in their products and marketing.
If they made electronics, specifically computers, it would most likely include that same signature color and gold accents reminiscent of their fine jewelry. AI seems to have nailed it, now its time to get Tiffany on the phone.
Speak to Me Prada
Prada is an Italian fashion house specializing in luxury goods. It was founded in 1913 by Mario Prada in Milan and has since then garnered worldwide success in the ready-to-wear fashion market. Prada specializes in fine leather craftsmanship of handbags as well as travel accessories, shoes, and more.
What if Prada turned itself into an electronic company and came out with the most extravagant yet stylish outdoor speakers? Hopefully, it would be as ready-to-use as their fashion is ready-to-wear. AI did quite an accurate job since it fits right into their London-based Prada Cafe color scheme. You can’t have enough pastel green.
Rolls Royce Quenching Thirst
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited is a British luxury automobile maker. Their exclusive cars are considered a work of art by many. The company is known for its exclusive clientele, its attention to detail, and personalization of products.
As a general rule, you probably want to keep at least one bottle of water in your car. What if Rolls-Royce manufactured their own sleek glass water bottles to go in their cars? If you’re going to have fancy Rolls Royce water it should look at least something like this in order to get your money’s worth. Hopefully, the refills aren’t as expensive.
Ommmm Facebook
Facebook, Inc. was founded in 2004 and since then has become Mata Platforms, Inc. but we are feeling nostalgic. This company is an American multinational technology conglomerate based in California.
Since its operations, it has acquired and/or developed a number of additional platforms such as Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp to name a few. We can’t help but think what if it sold something else entirely, besides your alleged data, like yoga mats? I’m sure you can find some branded merch somewhere, it’s high tech after all.
Disney was founded by Walt Disney alongside his brother Roy Disney in 1929 and was called Walt Disney Productions. It operated as a cartoon animation studio. As it is known today, Walt Disney Company is an American multinational mass media and entertainment company. Now, countless children around the world continue to grow up with the magic that is Disney.
The world would be quite different if Disney made power tools instead. If it did then the world as we know it would have a considerable amount less pixie dust that’s for sure, but we expect that these tools would look somewhat like this. They seem to remind you of Mickey Mouse if you look close enough. Bonus points if you can figure out what kind of tools these are, as they look a little too whimsical, but that does seem to be exactly on brand.
Nestlé in the Garden
Nestlé is a Swiss multinational food and drink company based in Switzerland. Some of their biggest brands include KitKat, Toll House, and Nescafé. Their brand stands for individuals and families making healthier choices while not compromising on taste.
What if Nestlé made gardening products instead? It would probably look something like this, using their previous and well-known product’s brown chocolate colors and aromatic flavors seems like a genius marketing tactic.
